Regrouping of Numbers For Addition

Regrouping means to rearrange the numbers to make the addition easier.

When a number is bigger than 10 we will group the tens and lave the remaining object.

For example in the case of 14

Let us consider there are 14 apples, we will group ten apples and will consider then as 1 tens and remaining 4 apples as 4 ones as shown in the figure below
